Channel 10 has confirmed the premiere date for the highly anticipated new season of Australian Survivor.
Australian Survivor: Brains v Brawn will launch on Sunday, July 18, at 7:30pm.
This is just two days before the beginning of the Tokyo Olympics coverage on Channel Seven.
Meanwhile, a thrilling trailer for the new season shows the 'brawny' and 'brainy' contestants facing off in the Queensland outback.
Australian Survivor was filmed in the outback of North West Queensland.
Channel 10 announced in February the new season would be filmed locally, after the network secured a government location incentive.
They received $3.9million to produce the reality show in order to create jobs and boost the local economy.
Australian Survivor: Brains v Brawn premieres Sunday, July 18, at 7:30pm on Channel 10
